Today’s CoBloWriMo blog prompt topic is “media” – and instead of sharing thoughts on mass media and how it relates to my costuming, I thought I’d switch things up a little.
One of the things I’ve seen other people in the SCA do is try to be more immersive in their main persona. Most of my persona interest is all around costume (millinery, jewellery, clothing, etc) but I really like the idea of looking into other ways to explore the persona as well.
I’m hoping to improve my feast kit for starters, trying to bring more elements to my camping kit as well (minus the tent unfortunately, since I can’t really transport or store a period tent) and also… what I eat in persona.
I found this recipe on Pinterest labeled as a “Nordic Stone Age Bread” – well… I made it up and I wouldn’t say that it’s Stone-age as-is, but I can see with substitutions it could be plausible – ingredient wise at least for Viking Age Scandinavia.
So, how does this play into media – well… I don’t just have this blog, but I also have a food-related blog. Happy Sushi Belly seemed like a more appropriate place to post about this ‘bread’, so I’d invite you to read more there!
