The next project that I wanted to do on the laser cutter at the Maker Space was a largesse project for my SCA group. An acquaintance helps organize a largesse-making group called the Fellowship of the Things, and they were hosting a half-dozen largesse raising for summer Coronation. I wouldn’t be able to attend the event, but I thought I would try to make something to send along.
The Dior display at the Glenbow Museum had four main areas – evening gowns, day dresses, day suits, and then other merchandise like cosmetics, perfume, etc… I found the day suits the least inspiring, and was curious why they would be displayed so that they were the first thing that I’d be looking at.
One of my absolute favourite gowns from the Dior display at the Glenbow Museum was Isabelle, a pinstriped black and grey gown with a huge pink cumberbund and bow.
