Skull Damask circle skirt

Skull damask print cotton circle skirt

Skull damask print cotton circle skirt

After starting the glow-in-the-dark black and white spider and spiderweb print cotton circle skirt, I decided to grab some other gothic-inspired fabric from my stash for another to add to my wardrobe.  This fabric is a dark grey and black damask cotton print, with a small skull in the damask which is nearly impossible to see until you’re up close unfortunately.

Courtesy masks

A huge order of 18 adult-sized fabric courtesy masks and 3 child-sized mask for a good friend of mine

A huge order of 18 adult-sized fabric courtesy masks and 3 child-sized mask for a good friend of mine

Fibre Fair & Grandmother Goodies

Tapestry wool (and one spool of lovely linen) from the Fibre Fair

Tapestry wool (and one spool of lovely linen) from the Fibre Fair

Just a little shopping spree brag blog post here. I visited the Calgary Spring Fibre Festival on May 12, 2018 and picked up a few different items.

From one seller I bought a lovely spool of natural hemp (as recommended by my friend from @Black Sheep Textiles) and from Aubusson House Fibres Fine Yarn & Supplies I bought a number of spools of tapestry yarn. These were $10.00/lb, and I bought 3lbs. This should be plenty of yarn to play around with, and usually sells for $15.00 for a 1/4lb spool.  Continue reading

There are more fabrics in my auction than I have pictured here… these are just a few of them. 🙂
