DIY Draped Front top with studded shoulders

So yep… I’ve done it again, another draped-front top.  Black of course, in a soft knit for the body, and then some of the studded black fabric similar to the one I’ve used before for the shoulders and back yoke.

The studded fabric comes from the 2023 Grandmother’s Fabric & Yarn sale, and the black knit was just in my stash – origins unknown.

Before I lost access to the maker space and their Cameo Silhouette 3 cutting machine, I had a long list of cool things I wanted to try – and this bat wing necklace was nearly at the top of the list!

In my last post I shared the first version of this necklace, but after finishing that one, I made two more, first changing the size, and then changing how the necklace connects at the front.

Today I’m sharing those second and third necklaces, and figuring out what version I like best…

Before I lost access to the maker space and their Cameo Silhouette 3 cutting machine, I had a long list of cool things I wanted to try – and this bat wing necklace was nearly at the top of the list!

I first got the idea from (the currently closed) @shopjennymachete‘s bat wing harness. I loved the idea, though I didn’t really want to make a harness. Worn backwards though it looked so much like the collar on a shirt – or a necklace!
